Many times we want to restrict USB drive in our system. Then we use many tricks for this purpose.

Third option is, we install a third party software for USB blocking. this is a successful way to block removable disk but we always afraid for keylogger and any malware. because no one company gives you services in free. if the company give the service is free then something is wrong.
You don't think to purchase a third party software. then you can use windows Group Editing Policy.
and click on "Apply" button then Click on "OK" button.
Then Close the All windows.

Follow these steps to block USB/Removable Disk:
Step 1:
Open run promote via press window key + R. Type "gpedit.msc"Then Click on ok button.
step 2:
Now you see a "Local Group Policy Editor" Window.

After open the group policy window.
Click on "Administrative Template"
Then Click On "system"
Step 3:
After you click on system. a sub menu is appear.in this sub menu
Click On "Removable Storage Access"
After this you can see many option.
where you can choose your desired option like:
only usb port block,only removable disk block, only port 1 block,only floppy disk block etc.

If you want block all removable storage access
then Double click on "All Removable Storage Classes : Deny All Access"
After double click you see that a new window appear on your desktop which look like this:
In the new window which appear recently is by default set to "Not Configured" button.
please change this to "Enabled" button.and click on "Apply" button then Click on "OK" button.
Then Close the All windows.
Now your System is protect from outside USB users.
